Professor Gobena Ameni brings over two decades of teaching and research experiences at the Addis Ababa University. Notably, he has contributed to the scientific community through his extensive innovative research, having conducted and published over 278 scholarly articles.

Professor Gobena Ameni stated that the Gobena Ameni Foundation was inspired by the Aklilu Lemma Foundation and aims to collaborate with Ambo University to promote education, research, and innovation in Ethiopia.
